Value

Value, the most important aspect of making a purchase, has been a fundamental tenet of our business since its inception. The bottom line is that we are dealing with actual, real people and there are special needs: hair issues, both color and texture; eyebrow fine tuning; light sensitivity; etc. These and many more considerations are handled masterfully with compassion, discretion, and confidence. We capture what you have but use the best lighting and techniques to tweak and successfully execute the vision. All shoots include hair, makeup, and styling as well as the use of our extensive wardrobe, props, and accessories at no additional cost!

General Consultation:

Before the day of the shoot, we will consult on wardrobe, concept, and makeup when necessary and desired. We can strategize about what colors/types of clothing to bring, what to do (and NOT do) with your hair, and what to do with any special challenges you think you have (difficult hair, imperfect skin, etc.). Though a consultation is certainly required for a successful shoot, we encourage one, even if brief. Please see the following sections for more specific photo shoot and pricing information:

Deposit/Payment:

To reserve your photo session, an initial deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking. No Exceptions. This can be paid by check, cash, but is easiest reserved with a MC/VISA/AMEX/DISCOVER number. We do not run or charge the card ahead of time; it is only used in case of a last minute cancellation/no show. The remaining balance is due at the end of the session. We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and MC/VISA/AMEX/DISCOVER. Need to break up the cost over a few payments? No problem! We have flexible payment plans available as long as the details are set up in advance; please call and ask to speak to Bill if you are interested in multiple payments.

Rescheduling:

We require at least 48 hours (2 full business days) advance notice to reschedule all photo sessions. If your session is scheduled for Monday, you would need to contact us no later than the end of business the previous Wednesday. If you reschedule within the two business day requirement, the full deposit will be applied to the rescheduled session; if not, it is forfeited.


Entertainment Industry

Many studios dictate to the minute how long your shoot will be or exactly how many looks/changes you will get for what you pay. We take the approach of fulfilling your needs within your particular shoot. Your shoot may last 2 hours and only 3 changes if you are exclusively represented by an agent that just need headshots. However, another client of the same age may need commercial, theatrical, and print shots for an agency that reps them across the board. That shoot may take longer and have 6 or more changes. Moreover, by getting a good range of age in addition to image, our shoots are known for their longevity.

Services: Entertainment Photo Shoot

All shoots include hair, makeup, and styling. The use of our extensive wardrobe, props, and accessories is at no additional cost. Also included is a consultation meeting in person or via webcam/photos to discuss the details of the shoot. We cant emphasize how important it is to have a cohesive strategy before the day of the shoot!

Pricing

Ages 4-10-------includes approximately 100 edited shots: $350
Ages 11-30-----includes approximately 140 edited shots: $450
Ages 31-100----includes approximately 180 edited shots: $550


Corporate

Todays dynamic business community is diverse. Digital media and social networking are pushing the boundaries of traditional marketing. Cohesive branding and impressions are essential in maintaining a fresh but lasting corporate image. Photos are the best tools for branding and should engender the personality, candor, and spirit of everyone that makes a workplace/company successful. We understand that an entertainment company or a Hollywood dentist will want a more stylized look to their shoots whereas a top-notch legal firm may want more conservative corporate headshots. Imaging for marketing and branding puts your best foot forward with your clients, shareholders, and anyone else you want to impress or attract.

Services: Corporate Photo Shoot

We provide photography for use in corporate image development. This includes an emphasis on new media, including LinkedIn, FaceBook Business (Fan) pages, and Twitter. Of course, we still shoot for traditional media like annual reports, corporate image libraries, marketing collateral, and branding campaigns. Our specialties include corporate portraiture and narrative photography that documents corporate processes or promotes corporate concepts. On-site natural-light or flash photography is available, depending on the location and desired results. Location scouting for lighting and understanding of office set up/flow before the photo shoot is beneficial whenever possible. We can also provide portraiture services in our Playa del Rey studio or other off-site locations when it is more convenient for the client.

Groups: discounts apply for 3 or more team members
Commercial Corporate Day Rate: begins at $1,500; overall expense depends on the size and scope of each project.

Services: Traditional Graduation (senior Picture) Shoot

Honor yourself as a graduate with a beautiful, natural-light shoot. Hair, makeup, and styling are included, as are two wardrobe and background changes. The Traditional Graduation Shoot is about making you feel comfortable and look your best. Years of love and achievement should be honored and recognized, and nothing can capture the memory as well as a beautiful photo session. Let our many years of imaging expertise help in planning out the best wardrobe, styling, and makeup to make your photos something to cherish for the entire family. If you are not able to meet with us in person before the shoot we can convey ideas via email by seeing old photos of you and your loved ones.
